Improved Safety

Snow and ice can make your parking lot, walkways, steps, and other outdoor surfaces extremely hazardous. Calling a commercial snow plowing company is the fastest and easiest way to ensure your business is safe for your customers, employees, and vendors to access. A reputable Garden City, NY snow removal company will have ample experience, will use the most state-of-the-art equipment, and will apply proven techniques and strategies to eliminate snow buildup on the exterior surfaces of your Nassau County business so that your business can be safely accessed.

Reduced Liability

As a business owner, you’re liable for any accidents or injuries that occur on your Nassau County premises. This not only includes interior areas but exterior spaces, as well. Snow and ice can make outdoor surfaces extremely slippery. Just a few inches of snow can create a hazardous situation. If your customers, staff, or suppliers slip and fall on those snow-covered surfaces, you will be held liable for any injuries, which means that you could be responsible for any medical expenses and legal payouts; your insurance rates could skyrocket, too. By hiring a Garden City, NY commercial snow removal company, you’ll significantly reduce the liability risks that can be associated with those slippery, snow-covered outdoor surfaces.

Minimal Downtime

When the ground is covered with snow, it’s pretty much guaranteed that your Nassau County business is going to experience some amount of downtime. You’re most certainly going to lose some – if not all – of your customer base until the storm passes, employees might call out, or you may have no other choice but to tell them to stay home. If conditions are bad enough, you might have to close down completely. A reputable Garden City, NY commercial snow removal professional can help to minimize your downtime. An experienced commercial snow plowing expert will quickly clear your parking lots, walkways, stairs, and loading docks, and you’ll be back to business as usual in no time.

Cost Savings

You might assume that a professional commercial snow removal company is an unnecessary expense; however, in reality, hiring one can actually end up saving you a good deal of money. The increased safety, reduced liability, and minimal downtime that commercial snow removal services will provide can actually end up saving you a tremendous amount of money. Plus, a credible Garden City, NY commercial snow removal contractor will charge fair and affordable prices, which will make using their services an even more economical and worthwhile investment.

Peace of Mind

Last but certainly not least, hiring a commercial snow plowing company will provide you with peace of mind. As a Nassau County business owner, you have a lot of stress to contend with, and having to worry about the dangers and risks that snow can cause will only add to your stress. Because a dependable Garden City, NY commercial snow removal service will increase the safety of your property, will reduce your liability, will significantly reduce your downtime, and can help you save a sizable amount of money, well, it’s easy to see why hiring a professional will provide peace of mind.

Garden City is an incorporated village in the Town of Hempstead in Nassau County, on Long Island, in New York, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population of the village was 22,371.

In 1869, the Irish-born millionaire Alexander Turney Stewart bought a portion of the lightly populated Hempstead Plains. In a letter, Stewart described his intentions for Garden City:

Having been informed that interested parties are circulating statements to the effect that my purpose in desiring to purchase the Hempstead Plains is to devote them to the erection of tenement houses, and public charities of a like character, etc. I consider it proper to state that my only object in seeking to acquire these lands is to devote them to the usual purposes for which such lands, so located, should be applied that is, open them by constructing extensive public roads, laying out the lands in parcels for sale to actual settlers, and erecting at various points attractive buildings and residences, so that a barren waste may speedily be covered by a population desirable in every respect as neighbour taxpayers and as citizens. In doing this I am prepared and would be willing to expend several millions of dollars.

The central attraction of the new community was the Garden City Hotel, designed by the acclaimed firm of McKim, Mead & White. Although the original structure, as well as that which replaced it at the end of the 19th century, were torn down years ago after a fire, a rebuilt hotel still stands on the original grounds, as do many nearby Victorian homes. Access to Garden City was provided by the Central Railroad of Long Island, another Stewart project which he undertook at the same time. The railroad’s Hempstead Branch opened in 1873.
